On November 5th, 2015, the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a half-day learning opportunity.
Cash Reigns Supreme: Tracking the Financial Results of Your Business is being sponsored by BB&T and will teach small business owners the importance of financial statements and how they can be utilized to make better business decision.
Richard E. Carswell, the BB&T Market President for Athens-Clarke County, believes the course will be as beneficial for both startups as it will be for seasoned businesses.
The course will cover questions including:
Attendees will develop a better understanding of financial reporting from internal bookkeeping, as well as accountant-prepared financials.
The course will be taught by Tess Lee, Portfolio Manager for the National Development Council. Ms. Lee is a portfolio professional with over thirty years’ experience in all facets of economic development and commercial lending. She is skilled in financial underwriting, documentation and closing for business credit as well as in technical assistance to business owners.
