November 3: Women in Business
Epting Events, 11:30 a.m.
This month’s Women in Business group will be held at Epting Events: 1430 North Chase Street
The cost to attend is $25.00, and space is limited to just 25 people. Epting Events will prepare delicious holiday appetizers and the kitchen directors will show attendees how to assemble them for their own holiday get together. Epting Events will be selling wine for $3.00 per glass: cash only.
November 5: Athens Young Professionals Night
Pouch Pies, 5:30 p.m.
Young Professionals Network (YPN) Athens will host its November networking event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday Nov. 5 at Pouch Pies located at 151 E. Broad St. Attendees will mingle with other young professionals in Athens and learn more about Pouch Pies from owner Charmaine Enslin while enjoying free appetizers and craft beer at Pouch’s bar. The event is free. YPN is an extension of the Athens Chamber of Commerce with an interest in providing opportunities for young adults and professionals in Athens to connect, partner and network with each other.
November 10: NetWork Lunch
Graduate Athens, 11:30 a.m.
NetWORK Lunch meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM at the Graduate Athens. The cost is $15.00 per person, and RSVP’s are required to attend. NetWORK Lunch offers Chamber Members an opportunity to network and build fellowship in a casual environment.
November 17: Small Business Breakfast Club
Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, 8:00 a.m.
The Small Business Breakfast Club will tackle topics from your vantage point, the position of the small business owner. Please join us for breakfast, networking, and a substance-rich discussion from two professionals who enjoy & excel at wearing a couple of hats that most of us just leave on the rack.
November 19: Business After Hours
Buffalo’s Cafe, 5:30 p.m.
Business After Hours is held the third Thursday of the month from 5:30-7:30 PM, and is hosted by a different Chamber member each month. There is no charge to attend Business After Hours, however you must be a member of the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce in order to attend.
