This Tuesday, February 2nd , attend the monthly Mayor and Commission Regular Session at the City Hall (Room 205). The meeting will commence at 7pm where Athens community leaders and citizens will discuss a variety of topics, issues, and plans that will be carried out in the near future. Come out and support University of Georgia Athletics at Stegeman Coliseum this month in a series of different events:
Jerry Seinfeld is coming to The Classic Center on February 12th at 7pm. Tickets are on sale at prices between $65 and $150.
Each week World Famous downtown hosts its Four Athens Happy Hour to give local Athenians the chance to network, meet the city’s newest entrepreneurs and to get a feel for what is going on in the local start-up community. Stop in on Wednesdays from 6pm-7pm to enjoy yourself and hang-out with some of the classic city’s innovative thinkers.
Want to check out three of Athens’s major breweries? Hosted by Athens Tours & Transit, the Athens Brewery Tour takes place every Friday from 5:30pm to 8:50pm. After meeting at The Varsity, you’ll get the chance to visit Terrapin, Creature Comforts, and Copper Creek. This event is recurring every Friday and tickets are priced at $35.
Don’t miss your chance to ice skate this winter season at The Classic Center. February is the last month you can bring your friends and family to experience this large, new outdoor rink located under the 440 Foundry Pavilion. Athens on Ice offers individual tickets priced at $12 per 90-minute session. Buy your tickets online or they can be purchased at The Classic Center box office.
