March 3: YPN Goes to the Movies!
Pouch Pies, 5:30 p.m.
Athens Young Professionals Network (YPN Athens) will host its March networking event from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, March 3 in the Lounge of The Carmike Ovation 12 (formerly Carmike Cinema) located at 1575 Lexington Road. Attendees will enjoy beverages for purchase and appetizers provided courtesy of Carmike Ovation. Guests will hear from an Ovation representative who will discuss the theater’s recent renovations and the new trend of bars and restaurants in movie theaters. The event will then host a round of movie trivia. Admission to the event is Free.

YPN is an extension of the Athens Chamber of Commerce with an interest in providing opportunities for young adults and professionals in Athens to connect, partner and network with each other.

March 15: Women in Business
Athens Regional Medical Center Medical Services Building, 11:30 a.m.
Topic: “Resources for Aging”
This March, our Women in Business Luncheon will once again be held at the Athens Regional Medical Center Medical Services Building on March 15th from 11:30am to 1:00pm. The topic is “Resources for Aging” and the event will be hosted by Athens Regional Medical Center. Experts from several of their departments including Eve Anthony from the Council on Aging and Pamela Hall from the Home Health/Home Infusion sector will be leading the discussion about caring for aging loved ones or planning ahead for your own future. Tickets are $15

March 15: Small Business Breakfast Club
Athens Area Chamber of Commerce Building, 8:00 a.m.
Topic: “Doing Business with UGA”
Speaker – Ernie Webster
Ernie will speak on how to get registered and other helpful information in regards to doing business with UGA and will also have contact information regarding the other 32 USG colleges and universities. He will also have handouts regarding UGA and state registration, Names and contact information for UGA Procurement buyers and the commodities they handle.

March 17: Business After Hours
Champy’s Chicken, 5:30 p.m.
Champy’s Fried Chicken is hosting this upcoming month’s Business After Hours! On Thursday, March 17th, come out and enjoy appetizers and drinks, but more importantly get the chance to promote your business while hanging out and networking with other chamber members. The event is from 5:30pm to 7pm and free to all chamber members!

March 21: Annual Chamber Meeting
The Cotton Press
Drawing over 450 guests each year, this year’s annual meeting held at the Cotton Press is not something you want to miss. Our event provides the ideal atmosphere and opportunity to network with business leaders, elected officials, and influential entrepreneurs! There will be a keynote speaker, and awards and comments from the incoming and outgoing Chair of the Board. Tickets are sixty dollars for chamber members and seventy-five dollars for non-members.

March 31: Success Summit
Downtown Athens
